An 18th century French carved wood female figure. This French figure of hand carved wood features a female figure, draped in gown, kneeling in prayer like position with her palms closed together and held close to her chest. Her facial features are respectively thoughtful, almost sorrowful. She is bare-footed, and has longer, curly hair. This beautifully carved French wood sculpture from the 18th century is almost 3 ft in height, and will make a wonderful display of art in any room.
