Single Willy Guhl Planter, Rare Style
This Item Is Is SoldA rare style, mid-century Willy Guhl abstract triangular sculptural planter. This planter was designed by Swiss neo-functionalist designer Willy Guhl (1915-2004) for Eternit during the 1950's, Switzerland. The planter is constructed of eternite (a durable and light-weight fiber cement), which makes it weather-resistant should you choose to place it outdoors in any climate. This playfully triangular-shaped planter has more fluid lines at the feet and upper rim, which move in an exaggerated and undulating fashion. The primary color is a stone white with a wonderful patina from use and age. This rare Willy Guhl planter, from the mid 20th century, is a wonderful way to introduce some whimsically sculptural elements to your patio or garden.
