A single 19th century British Colonial carved wood column with custom stand. This antique hand-carved wooden architectural element from India, which stands approximately 5.5 feet in height, features a rounded column adorn with a series of carved rings about it's perimeter, and turned-style carving near it's top. This piece is nicely displayed upon a 1/2 inch thick, circular-shaped, custom iron base (which is included). The wood is has a nice patina showing it's age and prior history of use, with subtle, warm rusty hues. This 19th century British Colonial column would make a great decorative object, adding nice height and architectural interest within your home or office, perhaps filling an otherwise void corner.
