This pair of antique door posts from the Belu people of Timor Island (an island at the southern end of Maritime Southeast Asia, north of the Timor Sea) have been hand-carved in notched cut-outs and adorn with the traditional labyrinth design hand-carvings throughout. This pair of Belu door posts have a wonderful aged patina and are each presented on a custom black iron stand. These antique tribal posts from Timor, standing over 5.5 feet in height, make for a great decorative objects to fill a void within a room, corner, or flanking a doorway while adding architectural interest and texture.
