A Dogon Mali dance mask with carved figure from the early to mid 20th century. This Dogon tribal wooden ceremonial dance mask originates from Mali, West Africa. The mask is hand-carved and features a face with triangular eye holes, which is topped with a three-dimensionally carved kneeling figure with hands to mouth. The mask has wonderful old remnants of blue paint found in various areas. This African tribal dance mask, from the early to mid 20th century, has been custom mounted on a black iron stand allowing it to be used as a beautiful decorative object for your home or office.
