An Ethiopian tribal shield on custom iron stand. This vintage shield, originating from Ethiopia, has an overall convexly rounded-shape, and is made of a rich brown animal hide with wonderful patina. The leather shield is decorated with tooled metal medallions and u-shaped cut-outs. A looped handle for holding is found within it's center at back-side. This handsomely displayed Ethiopian tribal shield would be a wonderful decorative object for a living room or home office.
