A Spanish Baroque leather-wrapped coffer brass accents from the 18th century. This antique Spanish coffer, with it's rectangular-shaped body, has been ornately decorated with nail head brass studs (which have a dark patina from age) along the top, front, and each side. Some areas, particularly around the edges, are showing the wear of centuries of use, but we find that only adds character and does not interfere with form or function. The top opens to reveal an old fabric lined top and open storage within. The backside remains un-adorn, making best use for this piece against a wall or at the foot of a bed. This handsome Spanish Baroque coffer makes a beautiful and functional storage piece.
