This beautiful decorative piece has been artisan made with a delightful collection of various shells (in varying shapes, sizes, and colors) meticulously placed about all four sides, and top, of a wooden box. Each side has a large clam shell at center, and top features a sculptural "sea life" formation from as a fabulous crest ornamentation. This box is an art piece (though lid does function to reveal storage within-perhaps for treasured keepsakes) and is fragile, so recommended use would be for decorative purposes.
