A French carved-wood mirror from the 19th century. This antique mirror from France features a rectangular-shaped mirror with nicely carved wood rope that twists about its perimeter, within a clean-edge thinly profiled outer frame, and inner scalloped trim along the edges just before the carved rope surround. The patterns of the frame are quite unique and unusual. The glass/mirror center appears to be quit old, if not original, then it's certainly one of the best reproduction glass we've seen! This 19th century French mirror with rope-carved surround stands just shy of 4 feet in height; a great versatile size perfect for many uses throughout your home!
