A tall English wood-carved mirror with gold gilt finish from the mid 19th century. This antique mirror from England, which stands approximately 6.75 feet in height, and has a vertically-oriented rectangular-shape. The wooden surround is comprised of reed-carved (raised ribbing) linear lines about all sides and corners embellished with squared-medallions with flower heads carved into their centers. The gilt finish has a lovely patina throughout, and glass mirror at center is original. This mid 19th century English full-length mirror will add so much brightness and light into your home; having a great many uses, but perhaps perfect as an over-mantle to show off soaring ceiling heights.
