A French Neoclassical trumeau style mirror from the early 19th century. This antique mirror from France features a vertical rectangular-shape with straight-line trim molding, with typical trumeau design of wooden plaque-style top over mirror below. The upper plaque features a large carved pot à feu (fire urn) within its center, draped in garland. There is a custom greige wash with a hint of green, which still allows for the wood grain to show through in some areas. The urn, swag, and moulding elements have subtle hues of light blue and antique white. This early 19th century French pier or trumeau mirror, with its elegant Neoclassical design, stands approximately 6 feet in height.
