A French Neoclassical carved and gilt wood mirror from the 19th century. This antique mirror from France features a beautifully carved crest with a smaller, round-shaped mirror at center, with a bow-tie at top and cheerful flowers surrounding it at either side, with carved-leaves cascading down the shoulders (and again at their bottom sides). The rectangular-shaped mirror has a bead-n-barrel inner trim with an additional ribbon twist trim outlining it. This mirror shows beautiful aging, and the gilt finish has the slightest bits of red showing through upon close inspection. This 19th century Neoclassical French mirror stands approximately 3.5 feet in height.
