A tall French wall mirror from the early 19th century. This antique mirror from France is rectangular-shaped and designed with clean, minimalist lines. It features an elegant two-tone surround with black molding about the outer frame and a think black inner sounding flanking a wood grain trim about the center. The glass center is in two pieces (as it was common for glass to be cut into smaller pieces and framed together for the illusion of one, due to a high taxation of glass during this time!) with top piece being original. The bottom mirror has been replaced at one point. This beautiful French mirror, circa 1820's, is quite nicely sized- standing over 7 feet in height.
