A French painted wood trumeau mirror, carved with female figures, from the early 20th century. This antique mirror from France is rectangular-shaped and has a lambs tongue carve top crest rail with trumeau plaque at top adorn with the carved figures of three ladies. The glass is surrounded with a smaller lambs tongue trim about its exterior and lined with a petite beaded trim about the inner surround. The primary finish, which is not original, is black with gold/bronze accents about the various trim and figures. This early 20th century French trumeau or over-mantle mirror stands approximately 4.75 feet in height and just over 3 feet in width.
