A French plaster bust of Nicolas Coustou (1658-1733). This vintage plaster bust from France, a reproduction of a famous art-piece, was originally sculpted by Guillaume Coustou I (1677-1746) of his older brother and famous sculpture, Nicolas Coustou. In this piece the subject is wearing a turban head wrap. It has been created "in the round" as to be seen from all angles, and is presented upon a cube shaped platform base. This handsome bust stands approximately 1.5 feet in height, and will make a wonderful decorative art piece for the home or office.
