French Antique "Bow and Arrows" Wall Plaque

A French carved-wood wall plaque from the 19th century. This antique wall decoration from France is rectangular in shape, and features a hand-carved center plaque depicting a bow & sheathed arrows within a bouquet of bundled foliage and ribbon and pair of carved tassels at bottom. The central plaque has a pronounced molded trim about its top, and petite bead carved trim accents about the perimeter. It is set within an outer frame (a later addition to this piece) that is green in color. The wood has a lovely aged patina throughout. This 19th century wall plaque, with bow & arrow carved center, is nicely sized at a width of just over 5.3 feet, and just over 3 feet in height.
