A vintage French six-light iron chandelier. This French mid-century chandelier features a center piece that could best be described as boat shaped, with two cross bars at it's center. There are six arms mounted around it's perimeter, which are topped with ruffled iron bobèches and painted candle covers. The chandelier is connect to the top by chain links at either far end. There are also chain links which hand downward at each far end. The upper support handle bar delicately turns outwards. There is beautiful, aged patina throughout. This chandelier has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match. This French mid 20th century iron chandelier would work well above a table or perhaps in a foyer.
