A vintage French six-light chandelier. This French chandelier from the mid 20th century of forged iron has a slender oblong shaped body which supports the three torch light style arms, iron bobèches and candle covers at eight side. The body is adorn with two shields, one pair on each side, which have been set with painted glass. The chandelier is connected to the upper canopy by a chain link from each far end, to an upper curved iron bar which has a twisted effect at each downward sloping side. The chandelier and bobèches display a hammered metal design. This French mid century chandelier has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match.
