Hungarian Chests w/Original Artistic Finish

This is a delightful near-pair of Hungarian chests with their original artistic hand-paint finish from the early 20th century. This antique pair of commodes from Hungary, each featuring two dove-tailed drawers and nicely presented upon tapered squared legs, retain their original exquisite hand-painted decorative finish. Though this pair of chests differ in their original hand-painted embellishments, they compliment each other beautifully through their shared color palette of blue, teal, green, and merlot. Please note that this is a near perfect match, as there is a half-inch difference in widths, and one chest has a single pull , while second is double. The backsides of these pieces remain unpainted, so best use would be against a wall. This pair of antique Hungarian hand-painted raised chests would be just lovely as a near-pair of bedroom nightstands or side tables for a living room sofa.
