A French commode from the early 20th century. This antique chest from France features a rectangular-shaped top with a case which houses three dovetailed-drawers, and is raised nicely upon four squared legs, with front pair gently tapering at their feet. The rich fruitwood tones of this piece are complemented throughout with an ebonized accent inlay trim outlining the top, drawer fronts and down each of the forward side posts. This early 20th century French commode with it's clean lines and inlay accents will make a wonderful decorative storage piece with display atop.
