An Italian Neoclassical wooden side chest from the 19th century. This antique smaller sized cabinet from Italy has a raised lip along the top back and sides, is fitted with a small drawer at top with simple knob pull, a pull up door in the mid section (which opens to reveal storage within and slides in/away so that you could keep it as an open shelf), and a larger drawer at bottom with a ring pull at center. The chest is clean in design and raised upon four square tapered feet. The fruitwood is warm and rich, having a nice old patina and lovely show of age. This 19th century Neoclassical Italian side cabinet is such a versatile piece that could be used in just about any room in your home.
