A Swedish shapely serpentine chest of three drawers from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. This antique chest from Sweden features a curvy-shaped serpentine body, a slightly overhung top which reflects the shape beneath, swag-carved side skirting along front and two sides, and is presented upon petitely carved legs. Each of the three full-sized and graduated drawers are fitted with a pair of ring pulls, with top draw pulls flanking a round escutcheon at center. This piece has a scraped finish with a beige being the primary color, and hints of blue more prominent on the front and sides. This late 18th to early 19th Swedish serpentine chest-of-drawers will make a charming case piece, with it's soothing color and fluid shape, perfect for your bedroom or living area.
