A tall Brazilian painted wood storage cabinet from the 19th Century. This antique cabinet from Brazil, which stands over 5.5 feet tall, features a design in clean lines, with cabinet housing a pair of tall doors at front, each opening to reveal shelving within for plentiful storage. The sides of the cabinet are made up of a single piece of plank wood, that extend below the skirt on each side and making up the legs, with ogee arch cut outs from the floor at center. This piece is made of a strong, tropical hardwood with a fabulous old patina - either original or a very old red finish.
