A French wooden console cabinet from the mid 20th century. This vintage buffet cabinet from France, just over 8 feet in length, has a beautifully curved body with its elongated demi-shape, and rounded front posts which project outward adding to the fluidity of the piece. It is accentuated about it's body with decorative paneling and fluted carvings. This piece houses five drawers set horizontally across the top, with five raised-panel doors set beneath each drawer that open to reveal an interior shelf and storage within. There is a newer, lightly bleached finish and custom trim color in a taupe/gray atop subtle hints of green/turquoise which pop through in some areas (though colors are only seen up close and read neutral from a distance). This mid-century French sideboard cabinet is a handsome and versatile piece with great length, and would work well in many rooms throughout your home for your storage and display needs.
