An Italian ornately carved chest of four drawers from the 19th century. This antique chest from Italy has a slightly overhanging rectangular top above a case which houses four drawers, and is raised on block-style feet that have a gentle outward curve where they touch the floor. Each of the drawer fronts as well as the apron trim at bottom have been elaborately hand-carved in a lovely medallion and flower head motif. This piece has a natural/bleached finish which is complimented with a custom seafoam green trim accent. This 19th century Italian medallion carved chest would be a beautiful addition to a bedroom, or perhaps in a foyer or living area with decorative items atop and storage within.
