French Pair Painted Console Cabinets

A French pair of painted wood console cabinets. This vintage pair of chests from France each have rectangular-shaped tops which overhang the case beneath that houses a slender, full-sized drawer at top, above a pair of recessed-panel doors, which open to reveal an inner shelf for plentiful storage inside. There are panels adorning each chest side. The skirting has bracket supports at each leg corner and an oblong demi hangs down at front apron center. These smaller buffets are raised on slightly tapering squared legs that terminate into brass feet. A custom taupe color accentuates the top, and a wash of off white (with much of the wood grain still showing) on the body completes the look. This vintage pair of French cabinets are as simplistically-beautiful as they are functional, making them versatile in their many uses throughout your home.
