Antique French Chest w/Beautiful Carvings

A French Neoclassical style, foliage-carved and bleached-wood chest of three-drawers from the early 19th century. This antique chest from France features a rectangular-shaped top with softly-rounded front corners, which rests atop a Neoclassic case that houses three full-sized and graduated drawers, flanked within garland-carved and rounded front side-posts (which is repeated at the backside but not rounded), and presented upon blunt-arrow feet. Each of the drawer fronts are beautifully adorn with elegant branching leaves, a pair of brass bail-pulls, and a petite brass escutcheon at their center. The skirt is deeply fluted with a drop-down center panel carved in the same foliage motif, and dentil carved accents. The new, custom bleached-finish is accentuated with a beige/taupe accent trim color. This early 19th century French neoclassical designed chest-of-drawers would be a lovely addition to any foyer, living, or bed room space.
