Italian Early 19th C. Carved-Wood Buffet

An Italian carved wood buffet cabinet from the early 19th century. This antique cabinet from Italy features a rectangular-shaped top with rounded front corner edges, which rests above a case of fitted with a two small half drawers over a pair of doors. Each door front is adorn with molded trim frames with a decoratively carved raised-panel within their centers. The drawer fronts have shapely recessed paneling with metal accents and a knob pull at center. The beautiful paneling continues along the rounded front side posts, and each far end of the cabinet. The skirt is molded and curves gracefully about the front corners. This buffet is raised upon halved bun style feet. The wood is complimented with a champagne color on the trim and carvings. This early 19th century Italian buffet would be a wonderful storage and display piece, perfect for a foyer, office, kitchen, or dining room.
