A French wooden three-drawer commode from the 18th century. This antique chest from France is fitted with three graduated drawers which are flanked within fluted front side posts. The skirt is straight and clean. And this chest is raised upon square tapered feet at front, with block feet at rear. The beautiful patina of the wood gives this piece an almost primitive feel, and is complimented with a custom light accent trim. This 18th century French commode will make a handsome case piece which would work in just about any room in your home!
