An English chest of four drawers from the early to mid 19th century. This antique chest from England features a rectangular-shaped top with a case which houses four graduated drawers, and has a lovely swag carved skirting along front and both sides. It is raised upon four carved legs, with front pair gently sabered in outward fashion. The wood is complemented with an ebonized accent trim outlining the top, various edges, and above the skirt-line. This early to mid 19th century English chest with it's clean lines and scalloped skirt will make a wonderful decorative storage piece with display atop.
