Italian 19th C. Nicely-Carved Wood Credenza

An Italian buffet cabinet with decoratively raised panels, from the 19th century. This antique console cabinet from Italy has a canted breakfront design, houses three smaller drawers atop three doors, and is raised on shapely-carved bracket style feet. The drawer and door fronts are all carved with raised geometrical panels, and flanked within more simplistically designed raised panels. Nice trimming outlines the underside of the top. The cabinet has a newer custom bleached finish with a complimentary wash about the trim in a pale blue/green/cream color palette (which reads neutral from afar). This fabulous 19th century credenza will be stand out piece featured within any room, perhaps finding it's place within your dining, living room, or entry hall.
