An Italian late Rococo style chest of drawers with serpentine form and book-match veneers, circa 1780. This 18th century chest from Italy features a shapely serpentine top and body, adorned in book-match veneers and inlay throughout, and presented on carved cabriole legs. The case houses three graduated drawers, each fitted with elaborate rococo hardware and an escutcheon at center. Please note that the middle drawer pulls have a slight depression, but is not recognizable unless studying this piece from a side angle.
