A French carved wood sideboard, with column accents and bleached finish, from the mid 20th century. This mid-century buffet console from France has a curvaceous form with subtle break-front and concave appearance at sides. Four panel-front drawers are set horizontally along the front facade, atop four panel-front drawers that open to reveal abundant storage beneath. Fluted carvings and column posts embellish the cabinet at either far side. This piece is nicely presented upon four tapering conical legs, which terminate into brass feet. The custom bleached finish is complimented with a wash of light blue, with green and cream undertones, about the trim and accents. This mid 20th century French enfilade is just over eight feet in length, offering great length and storage potential, perhaps in a dining area as a buffet, or in a living room as an attractive sideboard.
