A French Louis XV style wood lingerie chest, with marble top and five drawers, from the 19th century. This antique small-sized commode from France features its original marble top, walnut wood case which houses five drawers set in vertical fashion, and raised on carved cabriole legs. The drawers have their original hardware and are lined in a very old (near original) toile fabric. Please note that the original marble has some slight staining, as can be seen in the additional images. This 19th century French commode is in petite proportions, allowing it to be easily placed and useful storage within most rooms of the house.
