Neoclassic Italian Chest w/Nice Clean Lines

An Italian Neoclassical chest of drawers from the early 19th century. This antique cassettiera (chest of drawers) from Italy features a rectangular-shaped top slightly overhanging the case below which houses three dovetailed and graduated drawers (each fitted with their original escutcheon at center), and presented on four squared legs that taper gently towards their feet. The skirt is straight and linear with bracket accents braced along the top of each leg. The wood is rich and has a lovely patina throughout.
