French Pair 19th C. Bleached Side Chests

A French pair of bleached and painted wood sides chests from the 19th century. This antique pair of smaller sized commodes from France each have a rectangular-shaped top with recessed center with glass panel set as a protective top surface. The case houses a slender pull out shelf at top, over a single drawer atop a single door (both fitted with simple ring pulls). The cabinets are presented upon thickly-carved squared and tapering feet. The bleached finish is complimented with a custom light blue and gray trim finish. These 19th century French comodini will function beautifully as a matching pair of side-chests for a sofa, or as bedside tables.
