Early 19th C. French Buffet, Bleached Oak

Early 19th C. French Buffet, Bleached Oak | Item# 1386

79.5"width 20"depth 40"height

A French Neoclassical period carved oak buffet cabinet from the early 19th century. This antique console cabinet from France has nicely appointed details and features a rectangular-shaped top with softly rounded front corners, over a case which houses three decoratively paneled drawers set vertically at center, flanked within a pair of doors; one at each end, both having decoratively raised panels and petite flower and leafy garland embellishments at their tops. The skirt is scalloped on the front and both side, and there are a pair of oval medallions flanking a flower head carved within the front center of the apron. The chest is presented upon four petite cabriole style feet. The oak has a new bleached finish which has been complimented with a white (water-based stain) accent highlighting the various trimmings. This early 19th century French buffet cabinet will offer plentiful storage and display options, while enhancing your space within a kitchen, dining room, or perhaps in a family room as a credenza cabinet.

Price: $6,720.
