A French Giacometti style open display metal étagère with glass shelves. This vintage book shelf from France has a whimsical design which is reminiscent of Giacometti style. The patinated iron frame is topped with goose-head finials at each corner, has a knotted x-shaped motif down each shelves exterior side, and is playfully raised upon four webbed feet. Five glass shelves (including the glass shelf at top) are housed within the frame, with the lowest shelf being smaller to allow for the inward curvature of the design. This French Giacometti style étagère stands just shy of 7 feet in height, and will make a stylish display case--decorated with art, books, or other treasured collectibles (with the ability to be floated within a room if needed).
