A French wooden bow-front chest of three drawers. This vintage commode from France has a slightly overhanging top lip, which is nicely scalloped about the front and two sides. The case beneath is curvy with bowed front and sides, and houses three full-sized drawers fitted with Rococo style iron hardware. Each side is smooth and clean, with a shallow-set recessed panel. The front and side skirting is adorn in carved scalloping, mimicking the top. The wood has a peachy/honey undertone and the trim has been highlighted to compliment the wood grain.
