French Pair Side Chests w/Fabulous Details

A French pair of ornately decorated side chests from the early 20th century. This antique pair of wooden end tables from France are each exquisitely detailed with beautiful trimming about the top perimeter, fluting, bead and barrel trimming, and ribbon trimming adorning the case which houses three stacked drawers. Each of the drawers are embellished with scrolling foliate and circular accents at center. They are each fitted with a pair of simple knob pulls flanking a central keyhole. This chest is raised upon four spaded legs with recessed fronts having carved candlesticks within them. The wood has a bleached finish with complimentary custom gold/silver blended trim accents. This pair of circa 1920's French raised chests are full of wonderful details and would function well as a pair of nightstands flanking a bed, or perhaps at either end of a sofa.
