An Italian raised chest of two drawers with burled wood veneer. This vintage chest from Italy is abundant with softly curved lines; a top with rounded front corners and a shallow convex front, a slightly bowed body, single scallops adorning the center along on three skirt sides, and raised on shapely legs that gently taper towards their feet. A gorgeous burled wood veneer throughout the body speaks for the simple elegance of this piece. The chest houses two drawers, each fitted with a pair of really neat pulls in upward fanned leaf shapes.
