A French Neoclassical style painted wood commode from the early 20th century. This antique chest from France has been designed in clean/linear lines, with a rectangular-shaped top which slightly overhangs the case below which houses three full sized drawers, and presented upon four squared legs that taper towards their feet. The drawers are outlined in an accent trim color and each fitted with a pair of round-pull handles flanking the bow-tie escutcheon at their centers. Primary color is a sand/wheat with an umber colored accent trim. This early 20th century French chest-of-drawers is the perfect for the bedroom or den, and is just shy of four feet in length.
