A French pair of wooden open-shelved side chests with upper drawer, from the mid 20th century. This mid-century pair of end tables from France each features a tray-style top with slender drawer set beneath, and case which houses three shelves set within column style squared side posts, adorn with x-shaped designs at either side and rear which gives these pieces an open and airy feeling. The shelves are raised slightly above the ground upon four petite caster wheels. These mid 20th century étagères from France stand just over 3 feet in height and will make a lovely pair of end tables, with great display for books or other collected objects.
