An Italian smaller sized veneered wood raised cabinet from the early 19th century. This antique end table from Italy has a case which houses a slender drawer at top, with a single door below (with open storage within). The chest has a beautifully and decoratively veneered skin about the front and both sides. This chest is raised nicely off the floor, with open/airy space beneath, upon four squared legs that gently taper to their feet. Note that there is some wear/cracking and the veneers have had some prior repairs. However, the piece is in good shape for its age, but has definitely lived a full life! This early 19th century Italian raised cabinet is a cute size, perfect for a small drinks or end table, or perhaps sitting alongside your favorite reading chair, sofa end, or bedside.
