Beautifully Carved Antique Credenza, Italy

An Italian Neoclassical carved walnut wood credenza console from the early 19th century. This antique buffet from Italy features rich walnut wood which has been exquisitely carved with elaborate trim, stacked floral garlands, ringed medallion accents, and fully rounded pilaster side posts flanking the pair of arched and recessed panel doors at front. There are two recessed panel drawers housed horizontally beneath the top, with three discretely hidden petite drawers that pull out from their magnificent carved lion head fronts. The doors open to a shelf on the inside, maximizing the storage potential of this piece. This chest is presented upon a stack molded platform style base. Please note that some of the boards along the backside of this piece are to be replaced. This fabulous early 19th century Italian walnut cabinet will be stand out piece featured within any room- perhaps finding it's place within your dining, living room, or entry hall.
