18th C. Italian Three-Drawer Wooden Chest

An Italian three-drawer wooden chest from the 18th century. This antique commode from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top, over case which houses three full-size decoratively/recessed-panel drawers fitted with metal hardware. The chest is presented upon bracket-carved feet, which gives nice height and skirting along the front and both sides. Please note that there have been some prior repairs to the legs, and that the top is likely an old replacement (not new, but not original). This 18th century Italian chest will make a handsome storage and display addition to your home.
