French Neoclassic Commode w/Great Trim

A French Neoclassical carved-wood commode from the 19th century. This antique commode from France houses three full-sized drawers, each beautifully embellished with petitely-carved bead and barrel trim and flower accents about decoratively-raised panels and a circular medallion at each center area, and fitted with Neoclassical hardware. The front side posts are fluted, with the flute-carving continuing down each front leg. There is a custom taupe finish with grey trim accents. Please note that there have been some prior replacements to some of the boards at backside of chest. This 19th century French Neoclassical commode, with its nicely trimmed drawers and soothing custom color, will make a lovely addition to a bedroom.
