Italian Wooden Pedestal Cabinet, 19th C

An Italian wooden pedestal cabinet from the 19th century. This antique pillar from Italy has a cylindrical shaped body with flat top (approximately 14" diameter) and is presented upon a square-shaped base. The front side of the pedestal has a single door, fitted with a decorative brass pull knob, which opens to reveal a shelf and interior storage. This 19th century Italian pedestal cabinet, standing just shy of 3 feet in height, has beautiful wood grain throughout and would be a nice piece to float within a room; perhaps alongside an intimate seating arrangement or to add visual interest between windows with art or a plant prominently displayed atop.
