Antique Italian Tall Hutch Cabinet in Green

A tall Italian painted wood bookcase cabinet, with wire front doors, from the mid 19th century. This antique cabinet from Italy, which stands just over 8 feet in height, with an upper case which houses a pair of wire-paneled doors to allow for viewing displayed objects inside. The lower case, which is deeper in size, houses a slender drawer at top, over pair of recessed-panel doors below which open to reveal a shelf for storage inside. The top rail is cleanly molded and the skirt is neat an linear. The cabinet is presented upon four squared and tapering legs. The interior paint finish is original. Exterior paint was done later and is made up of various shades of green, foam blue/green, and brown. This mid 19th century Italian cabinet, with wire-front doors and great height, and will make a wonderful bookshelf, linen keep, or hutch for a dining room or kitchen.
