A Swedish Gustavian style wooden chest of three drawers from the 19th century. This antique chest from Sweden has been designed with clean, minimal stylings typical in Gustavian furniture. The rectangular top slightly overhangs the case below, which houses three graduated and dove-tailed drawers, each fitted with a pair of simple oval ring pulls. The chest is raised upon tapering block style feet. The wood has been scraped to reveal the original cream, tan and muted navy colored finish. This 19th century Swedish chest of drawers has a clean, timeless design which would compliment both a traditional or modern setting.
